You must be wondering why have I not been updating my blog in the last 3 weeks or so. Well, to be honest, I went holidaying in New Zealand. It was such a good break that I'd wish it wouldn't end so quickly.
It was the longest holiday I had taken, in my life with the most number of hotels ever stayed. I went through a total of 8 hotels in the southern part of New Zealand, starting from Christchurch and ending in Auckland. It was an amazing and awesome country with so many lakes, fields, mountains, trees and cattles! With a total population of 4,367,700 (as per Wikipedia) for the whole of New Zealand, it really is a very big country.
A good way to travel through the country is driving, which I did and all the highways are lined with trees and fields, however, they are single lane roads. One very amazing thing that I discovered while driving was that there are a lot of single lane bridges throughout this part of New Zealand which means at any point of time, cars on one side of the road can pass through the bridge while the opposite will give way.
The weather was a really good change for me as it was spring and it was cooling with only occasional rain and the sun set at about 9.00 pm.
I will write more of my trip in my next post. Stay tuned .....
